JIMMIE GAUGE

Not only is Jimmie the founding member of Bombs as Trent Reznor is the man behind Nine Inch Nails, but he also writes most of the band's material having prime influence over its direction and lineup. He is a veteran of the Texas rock music scene and has opened for numerous acts including Edgar Winter, Starship, C&C Music Factory, and KC & The Sunshine Band, to name a few prior to Bombs. He began his career at age seventeen as a keyboardist in a garage/blues/rock hybrid band called Tribal Sex and soon moved on to play guitar in various punk acts at the legendary DMZ Clubhouse in San Antonio. In 1999 he formed the band Tripwire and performed at the Starfest Music Festival on Labor Day of that year. In 2000 he joined the ranks of Gothic punk artists Emily's Gone MAd and was influenced to start a dark project of his own. Bombs Over Berlin was formed in September of 2001 with a vision of combining beautiful and dark textures and weaving them into sonic serenades that would haunt the audience foreve.

MICHAEL NOTHING

Michael is the main voice and frontman for Bombs. He has been with the band off and on for three years, as he is finishing a film degree at Full Sail in Orlando, Florida. He continues to fly in for shows and studio time. He is the man who propelled Jim's sound forward with his serenading tenor. He has a natural ability to draw a crowd, and holds that attention well after any performance, as he is known to engage his fans off the stage as well as on. Michael is beloved by all who encounter him, and brings credibility to the band's serious undertone with his happy-go-lucky demeanor. It's not unheard of for him to give a heart-wrenching performance that would bring you to tears, only to throw a goofy glance to get you to smile again. He looks forward to a long career as both a music video director, as well as the face and voice of Jim Gauge's project.
